PLEASE chance me for UNC, Northwestern, U Mich...

I am a junior and I am looking to apply to UNC Chapel Hill, Northwestern, UMich, Indiana University, Syracuse University, Northeastern, Boston University, and UMD to major in science journalism (well major in journalism and minor in chemistry). My unweighted GPA is 3.8 and my weighted is 4.44. My SAT is 1800 and I plan on taking the ACT (I’m aiming for above 30). My EC’s are: class council vice president, National Honor Society member, member of my school’s signature program (Advanced Placement Power Scholars), I played field hockey freshman-sophomore year, lacrosse freshman-current (I made varsity sophomore year), accepted into Interlochen Arts Academy for a 3-week writing summer program, selected as an ambassador to attend the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Seminar, counselor at a children’s summer camp, chief editor of my school newspaper, and intern at the National Cancer Institute. I am a great writer (hence why I’m pursuing journalism), so my essays will be great. I plan on having my AP Lang and AP Chemistry teachers write my recommendation letters.

AP classes:

Government
US History
Lang
World History
Chemistry
Literature
Environmental Science

What are my chances of getting into these schools?

UNC Chapel Hill - maybe
Northwestern - maybe
UMich - yeah
Syracuse - yes
Northeastern - yeah
Boston - yes
UMD - yeah

With an 1800 SAT:

UNC Chapel Hill - out of reach
Northwestern - out of reach
UMich - out of reach
Syracuse - match
Northeastern - out of reach
Boston - high match
UMD - match

^^ I’m with TomSrOfBoston

The only one I really know about is chapel hill, and the people being accepted right now have an average SAT of ~2200

the 1800 SAT will have to come up by a good couple hundred points.
