<p>Hey, I've only recently been looking into colleges and was wondering if some of you could chance me..? Thanks haha :)</p>

<p>INTENDED MAJOR: Communications
SAT (first time): 2100
CR- 710
Math- 680
Writing- 710 (68 on mc, 10 on essay)
GPA: 4.0 (98.3)
Rank: Top 20 out of 500+
ECs:
- Student council
- Entertainment editor of newspaper
- Science, Math, and French National Honors societies
- Beta Club
- Literary Magazine
- Less than 100 volunteer hours</p>

<p>I live In Georgia and my list of prospective schools atm is:
1. Vandy
2. UNC Chapel Hill
3. Davidson
4. William and Mary
5. Bryn Mawr
6. Emory
7. UGA
8. Washington and Lee
9. University of Virginia
10. Cornell</p>

<p>Soo... what do you guys thinks? And should I retake my SAT? I'm pretty satisfied, but this was my first time as a junior. I feel like I could improve math SLIGHTLY, but I wouldn't really skyrocket or anything. Thanks in advance!! :)</p>

<p>You have an excellent shot at those schools! Since you’re still a junior, I’d recommend you try to improve your SAT score even though its already pretty good. It would help for schools like Cornell. Good luck!

<p>Agree with SBlizzard, if you have time, improve your SAT score.
Otherwise…overall, ECs are pretty good (what’s beta club?), but could be better. Maybe try doing something out of school that’s related to writing/whatever you’re interested in? If the 4.0 GPA is unweighted, that’s fantastic.
I know someone who just got into Emory ED (or is it EA? idk) with similar ECs (and probably similar stats) as you, but she did have a varsity sport.

Emory: low reach
University of Virginia: low reach? (OOS?)
Cornell: reach
I don’t know about the rest.</p>

<p>Well you’ll obviously get your SAT score up since you’ve only taken it once. Take it again just cause. You also need to do Subject Tests. Improve your ECs (they’re boring). If you get a 2200ish SAT and keep up you’re GPA you’re looking more at:</p>
