Please chance me for UPenn ED

My scores are a little low, but I retook my SATs so hopefully the will be higher and I plan on taking Bio E and Literature in November

Major: Biological Basis of Behavior
Minor: History

GPA:95.47%
Race: Pakistani
Gender: Female
Location: Pennsylvania
School: High caliber school, usually sends 15 kids to Ivies every year
Rank: no rank, but in top 10%

Extracurricular:
Key Club Vice President and President
Biology Club member
Head of Costume Crew for school productions
Parliamentarian of FBLA
National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society member
Spanish Club Treasurer
Yearbook Editor
Student Council member (only 10 per grade)
SADD member
Fundraising and Morale Head for MiniThon (dance marathon based off Penn State's THON)

300 + volunteer hours from Hospital
190 + from Key Club and MiniThon activities
700 + from mosque related activites

In a selective program that allows students to shadow almost 40 health care providers at a very well known hospital in the area in order to gain exposure in the medical field junior year, and then allows them to choose two specific fields they have an interest in for senior year. This program helps students gain insight into the medical field and gives them a hands on experience different from hospital volunteering. My senior year rotations are Neurology and Dermatology with one day a week in Histology.

Awards:
AP Scholar with Distinction
3rd place in Business Communications at regional FBLA competition
Distinguished Vice President for Key Club
Honorable mention and top 10 in regional Brain Bee competition
Rotary Youth Leadership Award

As far as recommendation letters go, the teachers that I have chosen have told me they will write glowing recommendations but my counselor recommendation will be average.

My common app essay and supplement essay are both non cliched and show my diversity as an individual and how I bring my two cultures together.

I would appreciate any comments or tips! Thank you so much.

I also did research over this summer with an Internist and a Colombia undergrad exploring the links between the frontal cortex and a person’s ability to react in high stress situations.

I think you have a really good chance. Definitely have good ECs. SAT scores are within Penn’s middle 50%. Your intended major will probably help you because it sounds uncommon. ED does help a good bit at Penn. Just make sure to have other schools since all Ivies are reaches for everyone.

I would say you have a definite chance. Especially as a URM.

Chance me?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1559607-chances-getting-into-bu-2.html

You have a strong and solid resume, but there is nothing outstanding in it. With that being said, you have a solid chance and the ED will hopefully push you into the accepted bracket. I would say you are more likely to get accepted than not.

I disagree with one of the earlier posters. Your major is one of the most common majors for premeds at UPenn. Standardized test scores are within the 50% range so you don’t stand out there. Your grades and coursework seems to be competitive so that’s an upside. Your EC are also really awesome and show that you are not just science oriented but also well-rounded individual which UPenn does look for. i would say you have a low reach
U have a good chance of getting in: apply ED IF u are set on UPenn to increase your chances of getting in tithe SAS.

What were your ap scores?
Raise your sat and u have a solid chance if u apply ED. EC are great and show that u are dedicated. Don’t seem too focused on just premed stuff; show that you are well rounded and can be a useful tool on campus who will help make Penn the diverse place it is
