ONE IMPORTANT THING: I got a 4 the first time I took the compsci ap test (long story bad teacher), but got a 5 the second time around and did all my computer science research as well. I did not report ap scores to any school and just self reported the 5 but I believe the 4 still shows up on my transcript. How will this affect me cuz I’ve been stressing out like crazy over this one detail?

You really have amazing stats! You will most likely get into Penn, and I don’t think you should really worry about the 4 on the AP exam…if they have any doubts they will most likely contact your guidance counselor or tell you verify it by reporting the scores to them from college board.

Honestly a very competitive applicant overall. There were no major weaknesses that I saw. I think you’ll be fine but just remember that the Ivies are a reach for everyone. All the best

Competitive overall, and CMU CS seems a likely scenario since you won’t have to compete with 100,000 developer CS people

The last 3 schools are going to be tough. There are going to be a lot of applicants that look like you. Good essays and recommendations?

i think at least for cmu it’d be p good considering that he’s not gonna be in the developer pool

@WesternDigital the recommendations were really good from what my teachers told me. I had several english teachers read my essays and they said they were very creative and unique to me.

Your extracurriculars and awards are awesome. As long as your essays are good I think you can get in anywhere.

Strong chance of getting into UPenn
MIT is a stretch for everyone, i remember this ‘math prodigy’ from my grade with amazing stats got rejected although he had competed in international math and physics competitions
Anyhow, you’re going to go to a great school. Kudos to you for working so hard c:
