Depends what school you’re applying to. If Wharton/SEAS, that 35 in ACT is very helpful. Also, take the SAT2 for Math 2 and a sciences (physics if for SEAS). Math I is not helpful in my opinion. Apart from that, everything else is good enough to be considered admission.

@SickofApps I will probably major in Biology. I want to go to med school after undergrad

Well that changes things. Definitely take either Chem or Bio SAT2 (preferably both, but your choice). Also see if you can find summer activities that pertain more to medicine and not just CTY (which I wouldn’t even keep on your list because it has a reputation for being just a sleepover camp for rich kids, which is so stereotypical, but hey what can you do). Internships or volunteering at a local hospital, shadowing a private doctor, or classes at an established university will definitely help.

@SickofApps I didn’t specify but 75 hours of my volunteer are at a local hospital. 30ish are a private doctor. I will defiantly think about the BIO.CHEM SAT 2 tests

The SAT2 tests are to show that you can keep up with the curriculum. Take the AP classes/tests if you can too (unless it’s too late, then whatever). Everything else seems competitive; just be sure to make your essays shine!

@SickofApps Yeah I am taking AP Chem currently and will take the AP test at the end of my junior year. I will take AP Bio my senior year.
