Please chance me for USC, CMU, UIUC and others

Hi, I am current senior happy to finally start college apps, I just thought it would be best to know where I stand when I apply to the following schools:

University of Illinois - Chicago (safety)
University of Alabama (pure safety - full ride)
DePaul University (safety)
Purdue
University of Wisconsin - Madison
University of Southern California
New York University
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign
Northwestern
Carnegie Mellon University

Prospective major: Computer Science
State: Illinois
Race: White
Family income: ~80,000

UW GPA: 3.79
ACT: 32
SAT: N/A
Rank: Top 5%

Will have taken 11 AP courses by the end of high school. Right now I have 6 down.
US Gov: 4
Micro Econ: 4
US History: 4
Biology: 4
Composition: 4
Calc AB: 5

EC's: When it comes to EC's I am always staying after school for something, usually cross-country or bowling. On top of that I am involved in math tutoring and have 87 hours community service. I know depth is important in EC's, so I can say I have a deep history with Computer Science as I have known Java since freshman year and Visual Basic since sometime in middle school. I have put this knowledge to use by publishing apps.

Weakness: I thought I should include this because I have a feeling it has a decent impact in my chances. My major is computer science, a major with a heavy amount in it. Looking at my high school it would seem as though math is my weakness; my ACT math is a 30 (composite is 32) and I had a C in Honors Geometry my freshman year.

Thanks a ton!

You’re in good contention to be accepted with your grades and what not at UWisc and UIUC, but there’s a lot of kids with those kinds of stats that apply to those schools. You should look at what you have for extracurriculars; especially volunteering and philanthropy work. As far as Purdue goes, you’ve got a great chance there. I would HIGHLY reccommend Purdue: 1 in 50 engineers are from there, the campus is absolutely beautiful, and it’s ranked top 10 for CE. (UMich is a great school too…campus isn’t in the greatest condition though)
