I’m a full IB diploma candidate.</p>

<p>GPA (out of 4.00) (my school does not provide an unweighted GPA)
Freshman year: 4.00
Sophomore year: 4.07
Junior year first semester: 4.30 (I calculated it wrong on my last post)</p>

<p>My school does not do class ranking</p>

<p>ACT: 30
Planned SAT II’s: Biology E/M (I should do really well on this one), English Literature (I should do really well on this one too), Math I, and Spanish</p>

<p>Honors/IB Classes (taken/senior year schedule):
9th Grade: Biology HN, English 9 HN
10th Grade: English 10 HN
11th Grade: IB English HL, IB Biology HL, IB History of the Americas HL, IB Theory of Knowledge, Algebra II Honors
12th Grade: IB English HL II, IB Biology HL II, IB Topics HL II, IB Business SL I, IB Spanish SL I, IB Math Studies SL I</p>

<p>EC’s:
-Exemplar Tutor at the High School Writing Center for three years by the time of graduation
-Volunteer at my local hospital three hours a week for three years by the time of graduation
-Violin player for eight years by the time of graduation
-Guitar player for fourteen years by the time of graduation (studying privately as well as teaching myself)
-Part Time job at a music store during Junior year</p>

<p>Leadership:
-President/Director of Tutoring for the High School Writing Center for one year</p>

<p>Awards:
-Academic Letter for three years (getting above a 4.00 GPA)
-Orchestra Letter
-National Honor Society for three years
-National English Honor Society for three years
-National Science Honor Society for two years
-National History Honor Society for one year (they’re only offering it my senior year)
-National Spanish Honor Society for one year</p>

I’m a pretty awesome essay writer!
My teacher recommendations should be fantastic!
My counselor recommendation will be very personal and overall awesome (I’m very close to my counselor)
I make a great first impression, so my interviews should go exceptionally well</p>

<p>Definitely a good chance for W&M and Virginia because you are instate. Vandy, JHU, and Georgetown may be reaches but you seem to be competitive. Other two are safeties most likely. </p>

<p>No thanks! I’m done with the college process thanks for the offer though. I will prob be headed to William and Mary next year. </p>

<p>I agree, W&M and UVA should be matches, your 3rd choices are safeties, I’d say JHU is closer to a high match, and Vanderbilt and Georgetown are low reaches.</p>

<p>UVA is a low match. You will get into W&M. Georgetown, Vanderbilt, and JHU are low reaches
