<p>Hi, I have been so nervous the last couple of weeks and probably will be until April 1st, but I really wanted to hear from the people here who might be able to give me some idea for admissions into Wellesley and Bryn Mawr. I really love both of these colleges and hope I can attend either one of them. </p>
<p>I am a Korean-American girl born and raised in PA all my life.
I attend a large coed public school in a surburban area in PA. </p>

GPA: 3.3/4.0 unweighted
5.25/6.0 weighted</p>
<p>Class Rank: Top 15% </p>
<p>SAT: super score-2010, best sit-1980 (630 for reading, 720 for math, 660 for writing)</p>
<p>SATIIs- 650 for US History, 720 for Math 1, 610 for Math 2, 570 for Lit</p>
<p>APs- 3 for World History, 3 for AP lit, 4 for US History</p>
<p>Course load: 9th grade- English, History, Science, Spanish 2, Algebra 2 (all honors courses) </p>
<p>10th grade-AP World History, Pre-Calculus, Biology, English, Spanish 3 (all honors) Debate (semester), Business Law and Legal Practices (semester)</p>

<p>Job: Receptionist at the local YMCA, also works as a private tutor (about 15 hrs/week)</p>
<p>Volunteer: About 300 community service hours total since 9th grade. Helped out at different projects for Key Club, NJHS, and NHS. When I am not working at the YMCA,I am frequently there just to help out and volunteer. </p>
<p>Sports: I played for Recreational Soccer for 6 years.</p>
<p>Instrument: Played the violin for 8 years in the school orchestra.</p>
<p>Awards: AP Scholar, Gold Presidential Award in 9th grade</p>
<p>Recommendations: written by my us history and english language teachers, also by my guidance counselor- all 3 were probably good since I know them pretty well</p>
<p>Income Bracket: Low income (single parent worker, other parent is unemployed and is on disability aid) financial aid will probably be my deciding factor for college</p>
<p>Parents: Both only graduated from high school in korea, I'm the first person in my family to go to college</p>
<p>I visited and interviewed at Bryn Mawr, and only interviewed with Wellesley.
