Please chance me for Wellesley ED and Boston University!

Hi all! Thank you for taking the time to read this tediously long post and please don’t be afraid to comment and tell me that I won’t get in at either of these places >.< . My high school is the #1 public school in my state, I did not take honors physics, I dropped off of the honors english path after freshman year to focus on music, did not take AP Biology junior year, could not take AP Spanish because of a scheduling conflict but I am a native spanish speaker and am planning on independently studying and taking the AP at the end of the year, and other than that have taken all of the hardest courses available. My cumulative GPA is 3.76 and my school doesn’t do rankings/honors. I’m applying early decision to Wellesley and my second choice is BU. Thanks for your help!

Low reach for Wellesley, Low match for BU.

sorry- what do you mean by low reach and low match?

Those are standard "chancing’ terms on CC. Low reach means your stats are a bit low for the school OR some schools, like Wellesley, are reachy for virtually everyone. a match means you have at least a 50/50 chance of admission. Low match means the probability of admission is greater than 50%. All chancing threads are opinion.

Just a tip, unless the AP spanish exam requires almost no studying, there’s no reason why you should take it. If it is really because of a scheduling conflict, your counselor can explain that and it won’t be held against you!
