“T2 - 7/10. Law professor.” Yale isn’t going to like the fact that one of your teacher recommendations isn’t from a core teacher.

Other than that, you certainly have a chance to be admitted, but then again it’s Yale. Anything could happen.

You have as good a chance as anyone. Your band ecs are a nice complement to your high stats.
Good luck

Thank you! @wisteria100

Low-reach

Thank you! @uclaparent9

Considering that this school is a “reach” for vast majority of applicants, with perfect everything, please take my “low-reach” assessment (in the above post) as a compliment to your achievements!

@uclaparent9 I definitely did :slight_smile:

You’ve accomplished quite a bit, and you and I (having both submitted our Early Apps) are nervous as hell. I think you’ve got a good shot! Take care!

Yale SCEA: Very low chances

Thanks guys! @sirpepsi @20more
I’m just as nervous as you are :))

Thanks for chancing me. Obviously, Yale SCEA is a reach for anyone, but you have as good of a chance as any. Good luck!

Thanks for responding @GoBadgers2 ! I appreciate your response

I don’t understand how that many students could have any better chance than you? You literally have perfect Academic stats and good EC’s. I doubt Yale’s entire class is full of students that have cured cancer…

Thanks @cappex !

I’d say you’re right around the ball park. While Yale is a High Reach for everyone, You’re right in between High reach and a reach. I just don’t like that the law professor is one of your recommenders because I’m assuming he doesn’t “know know” you. But The people can see you passion in band, law, and business which is great!

Yale SCEA - Reach/High Reach

@Klee16 I actually decided to change that to my Econ professor; I felt that it was too impersonal with my law professor. Additionally, my intended major is Economics w/ Math, so that should help :))

With all of your high academic achievements, having band really shows you’re well rounded. My tip is write your essay about an emotional side of you, because those grades speak for themselves!

@nicolasstimac Thank you! I definitely tried to showcase my less hardcore academic side hahaha
