<p>I am applying for Spring 2012 admission - Masters in Chemical Engineering</p>
<p>Major: Mechanical Engineering</p>
<p>Undergrad Institution: U of M- Ann Arbor
GPA: 3.3(3.2 is cum laude. not great but just FYI)
Position in Class: no idea. dont think we have this
Type of Student: International.</p>
<p>GRE Scores:
Q: 790
V: 660
W: 4.5</p>
<p>Research Experience: 1 semester for credit + 1 summer working on biofuels related research</p>
<p>Awards/Honors/Recognitions: Dean's list/university honors. nothing otherwise</p>
<p>LORS: 1 LOR from Env Eng prof, 2 from Mecheng prof. I believe they should be pretty strong esp Env Eng.</p>
<p>Applying for Masters in Chemical Engineering at:</p>

illinois- maybe( dont seem to have spring admission)</p>
<p>Please advise me on my chances. My biggest concern is my GPA. I know schools look for 3.5 and above and well its a little late to do anything about that considering I only have 1 class left to complete.</p>
