Please Chance Me Guys!!! U Don't know how much I would appreciate it!

Hey guys, I am currently a freshmen applying for sophomore standing.

I just got my grades and I am wondering if they will be good enough for Georgetown's School of Foreign Service.

Transferring from Davidson College with 3 A-'s, and 1 B+

Three of my classes were 300+ level and above, and one 200+.

My recommendations and extracurriculars are both great, I don't feel the need to elaborate, but just take my word for it and assume so.

My high school record is pretty good - Top 25%-30% at prestigious prep school.

Sat- 1380/1600

Do you guys think my college gpa is good enough? The grade deflation here is a ***** and I was taking nearly all senior level courses as a freshmen...

Can't say for sure, but your SATs is at the 25% percentile for accepted SFS students according to the admissions website...

Depends on what Davidson's reputation is, if its common knowledge that there is grade deflation there, then maybe even a 3.5 is considered competitive, but all depends on how you stack up against other candidates... are you a first semester freshmen? If so, then you're high school record will probably carry some weight...

I'm speaking as though you were a first year, transfer might be significantly different
