You need to research The Claremont Colleges, because you are giving OP some misleading advice.
SMattes: you do have an outside shot at gaining admission to 1-2 of the Claremont Colleges, but by no means
will “…your stats get you into (all) these.” First, 4 of the 5 most selective LACs in the country are in Claremont, this year
Pomona and Claremont McKenna with admission rates of 9.76%, are the 2 most selective Liberal Art Colleges in the US,using % admits as a barometer (UCLA, which actually places more weight on test scores,by contrast, has an admission rate of approximately 17%) and Harvey Mudd traditionally rivals CalTech for the highest average SAT score in the nation (I believe 40% of their 2019 class this yer consists of HS Valedictorians.
Not trying to discourage you., SMattes, just want to make sure you have the facts.
