<p>Common app essay was very strong, and my supplement is decent (though condensed quite a bit). One letter of rec was very strong, but I am not sure about the other teacher one. Counselor letter was probably pretty good- she wrote about my love of English and my story times.</p>

<p>Thanks for chancing me! NYU CAS ED would be crazy not to let you in. You have tons and tons of leadership (especially in journalism which is what you’re applying for) and good stats. The only school that might give you a bit of trouble is UC Berkley but I still think that was is 70y/30n. It is very helpful that you’re a CA resident. The rest should be fine.
Don’t worry about you’re school not ranking. Mines doesn’t either. :)</p>

<p>Sounds like NYU would be a great fit especially with your letters of rec focusing on the strengths you have emphasized in your application. I think you should get in to NYU CAS ED, but maybe one thing to consider would be how you used your supplements etc. to emphasize passion and focus because your many extracurriculars do seem to be a bit all over the place. </p>

My supplement was not as strong as I would have liked it to be, since I condensed it quite a bit, but it was focused on my volunteering with lower-income elementary school students and mentoring them on how to write newspaper articles (since it’s near and dear to my heart as something I have done for nearly 7 years)</p>

<p>You’re solid to get into each of these schools and I mean it. Your test scores may be a little low for Berkeley, but you will make up for it with your ECs.</p>

<p>You are good to go except for Berkeley that may be a bit of reach. If you shine in your essays and as a person you are good to go.
