JHU (miracle)
WUSL (uh)
P.S. I know UCs are expensive. Thank you for not posting that every time.
SAT on low side for all the UC’s listed along with USC:
Average for last year’s Freshman classes was UCB= 2071 UCLA= 2067 UCSD= 2018. Consider retaking and aiming for a 2100 since you plan to apply to some competitive majors. GPA is on target and EC’s look good.
@gumbymom Thanks for replying. Yeah I regret taking that SAT early. I am aiming for 2200+ next time
UCB and UCLA and reach if you are out of state. Instate would mean you have a pretty good chance!
The others seem like match schools for me except JHU which you would need to talk more about passions lolz
Your app as it is now has some glaring flaws. That SAT needs to go up! Especially Math & CR, your GPA is good and your course rigor is okay. Academically, nothing exceptional, but it should be enough for some of your schools. Your ECs are very interesting, especially the violin playing at the nursing home. I would consider writing essays about that because it would stand out. And are those 30 hrs your total for volunteering? Because you also definitely need to work on that A LOT. Youre applying against kids who have 200-500 volunteer hours, even at places like Purdue or Univ. of WA. You have more than enough time to fix most of the issues on your app. ECs is one of those that at this point you either have it or you dont, but luckily you do. So, for your app as it is currently, here is what I predict as your chances:
University of Washington honors (top choice): High match
Seattle University: safety
Seattle Pacific University: safety
Washington State University (safety): safety, I dont see a need to apply to all 3, you’ll get into each of them. Maybe if youre feeling unconfident for whatever reason, do WSU and Seattle Univ., but I wouldnt bother with Seattle Pacific unless you really love it. Seems like a waste of time
UC B - rejected
UC SD - low reach
UC LA - rejected
Purdue University - low match
USC (…) - rejected
JHU (miracle) - rejected
WUSL (uh) - rejected
You should find some intermediaries between Univ. of WA and UCB, WUSTL, etc., because currently you dont have much of a chance at them. But at schools like UNC or U of R you would have a chance as reach schools.
Your SAT needs to go up, seriously. If you study well and get plenty of practice, I think you can get it up to at least a 2100, which put you in a much better position than as of now. Your GPA is competitive for any school, so you’re good academic-wise. Your extracurriculars are good for the schools listed. If you get your SAT up, I’m sure you’ll get into some of the schools listed.I think you’ll get into Perdue, and possibly some of the UC’s if you get your SAT up. Chance me back please?

@glraffelnatree thank you for the detailed response. I’ll look into U or R, seems interesting.
@giraffeinatree btw, does low/high match mean more likely or less likely? I am kinda confused.
@FireBallsDJ From LEAST to MOST likely acceptance: Rejected, high reach, reach, low reach, high match, match, low match, safety
