PLEAZ CHANCE ME..PLEAZZZZZZZ

A few years ago, Michigan would have been a safety for you, but in the last two-three years, I have seen several students with similar statistics get flat out rejected by Michigan. I will said safe match. Have your application completed and transcripts/recommendations and scores submitted by mid October.

You have good stats your ECs are ok…they are not stellar, especially because you volunteer at hospital (colleges see working at a hospital as a boredom to kids who can’t find any more creative volunteer activities, (yes I am being bias in some ways but too many kids volunteer at hospitals that colleges just get bored of looking at them))
umm I’m just wondering how did you get a 1 on the comp sci AP?
other than that I think you’ll be fine, your out of state and umich somewhat (in my opinion) likes out of state because they want to diversify their school.

Your SAT scores and grades are pretty suited for Michigan, if not higher than the 50th percentile. I’d have to give you an 9 or so.

Not sure how many out of state students Michigan likes to take, but at my high school, smack dab in Ann Arbor, 15% of our graduating class each year go to Michigan =)

Dude, you’re going to get in. Just write solid essays. I also would like to know how you managed a 1 on the Comp Sci exam. I had worse stats (except for that 1, lol) and I’m pretty sure I breezed through admissions. I did go to a top 100 U.S. public school, but whatever. You’re fine.
