PLEASE chance me? I'm going nuts!

I'm a rising senior, and my current list of colleges include UC Berkeley, Harvey Mudd, UCLA, UCSD, Caltech, and Brown. If someone wanted to help me calculate my weighted, capped, and unweigted GPA, that would be really nice (:

SAT:
2250C: 780M, 790W, 680CR (will retake October senior year)
650 SAT math level 1 (definitely not sending that though lol)
730 Chem
760 Math level 2 (retaking)
taking bio, physics, and math 2 in may/june of this year.

GPA (Top 4% in class of 500+)
Freshman year: 4.0 UW, three honors

Sophomore year:
Spanish 2 A/A
AP European History A/A
Precal Honors A/A
AP Chem B/B
Honors English A/A
PE A/A

Junior year (predicted):
APUSH B/B
AP Physics B A/A
AP Biology A/A
Spanish 3 A/A
AP Calculus BC B/A
AP English Lang B/A

Senior Year Schedule:
AP Environmental, AP Stats, AP Government, AP Economics, AP English Lit, 2-D animation(that would be my art), Digital Engineering

Does it help to say that I'm the first student at my school to take AP Chem as a sophomore without Honors Chem and to take AP Physics as a junior without Honors Physics? Also, Digital Engineering is the third year engineering course on the "Pathway to Engineering," and I'm technically skipping classes there too.

AP's (biggest weakness!)
AP Euro (2)
AP Chem (3)
MUST DO BETTER THIS YEAR! i'm studying forreal this time, though(:

Sports:
1 year JV swim team
2 years JV water polo
1 year varsity water polo (hopefully, next year)
2 years stage crew/set design for school musicals (i realize this is not a sport)

Awards:
2009-1st place in Science Olympiad State Competition, event: Compute This!
Elementary School – 1st place in grade level Science Fair Competitions
2007-2009 – Poems and Essays published in prestigious collections
2007 – 2nd Highest Cumulative Score in school Math Olympiad team of 100+ students

Yeah, I realize how ridiculously weak this is =(

Leadership:

Served as Fundraising Commissioner (2010-2011) for Reach Out Club, Lower Grade Rep (2010-2011)and Vice President (2011-2012) for the Health and Medicine Club, Web Designer (2010-2011) and Activities Coordinator (2011-2012) for the Spanish Club, and Treasurer (2011-2012) for the Crafts and Baking Club at my high school.

This summer, I'm going to Economics for Leaders at UC Berkeley.
I MIGHT make the Bank of America Student Leaders program, but I'm not sure about that.

Volunteering: (all ongoing)
Galaxy Explorer (basically exhibit explainer) at Chabot Space and Science Center (4 years)
IBM EXITE camp counselor (they only let you do a max of 1 year)
Kidpower volunteer at library (6 years)
Math tutor to students in school (2 years)
Indian Community Center Camp Counseling (1 summer)
Be the Match “Save Sanjana” Bone Marrow Campaign (encouraging marrow donation) -(multiple events over the last 2 years)

I'm honestly not sure how strong my application would be. I'd assume I'd get pretty good letters of rec and decent essays though.

Thanks in advance! I'm honestly FREAKING OUT over this.

First of all, calm down bro. Haha, I know from personal experience that freaking out doesn’t help. I think you have a great app. From what you wrote so far though, I don’t really know much about your interests and personality (ex. artistic, sporty, etc). Try to stress what you love doing through your EC’s. Show what you’re passionate about. So far, it looks great. GL!

bump, bump, bumpity bump!

Wow. I might say exceptional chances to all but Brown and Caltech which are never for sure. Nice job, especially in the consistency of your extra curriculars. Chance Me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1317220-chance-me-my-college-choices.html

bumpppppp?

Overall weighted: 4.36
Overall unweighted: 3.83
UC GPA (uncapped): 4.42
I have no idea how to do capped so you’re on your own there.

I calculated your gpa assuming that honors are weighted a half point higher. If that is not how your school does it, then the weighted & UC gpa are incorrect.

Great shot at the UC’s. Most likely in at UCSD, but UCLA and Cal are getting more and more unpredictable. I still think you have a great shot at them though.

Brown/Harvey Mudd/Caltech: high reaches

For top tech schools, you should not have repeated B’s in math and science courses, even if they are advanced. You don’t seem to really have many math/science oriented ECs. Nothing from before high school counts (i.e. elementary and middle school awards). I don’t really see a consistent theme throughout your ECs. For example, if you want to do science/technology, why are you taking an economics class this summer? Great overall GPA, SAT, and SAT subject tests though.

As low matches/safeties, I would also suggest UCD, UCSB, Cal Poly SLO (Great option/safety), maybe a less selective Claremont (can still cross register at HM), etc.

Thanks guys!(=
@alwaysleah what would my UC uncapped be if my English grade was changed to an A for first semester? (that’s assuming I miraculously get a 5)
You’re right about my EC’s and how they’re not goal-oriented. I really don’t know what to do though! The Economics for Leaders program was mainly to boost my leadership skills. And do you think I should retake the SAT? considering that 680 CR isn’t exactly beautiful. =/
hmmm, thanks for the Cal Poly SLO suggestion, I wasn’t really thinking it! Davis and other Claremonts were already on the list though! (I hear Scripps allows you to take up to 2/3 of your classes at Harvey Mudd)!

Overall, I’d say you have a pretty good app. The 2/3 might hurt you, but as long as you score higher on the other AP’s, you should be fine. EC’s are good, but not exceptional. You do Science Olympiad, though, so that makes you awesome! Good scores, classes, volunteering. I think you have a very likely chance at UCLA/UCSD, a likely chance at UC Berkeley/Harvey Mudd, and still a good chance at Brown/Caltech.

Thanks! How would you recommend I study? I just get bored so easily! D: haha you do scioly too?
