please chance me!! in love with vandy!

I just applied ED to Vanderbilt and am looking at other schools such as Boston College

I attend a very competitive and rigorous high school where a 4.0 is rare, but our class is not ranked.

3.5 weighted gpa
lots of AP courses
2200 SAT

National Merit Commended
AP Scholar

4 on the AP Environmental Science exam
5 on the AP Spanish Language exam

SAT II's:
Spanish: 780
Literature: 750

Strong essays

I also am a dancer and have participated heavily in extracurriculars in that regard

I am so set on Vanderbilt but I'm afraid I won't get in!! Opinions?

Bump!!! :)

Your SAT’s are perfect, but your weighted GPA seems low. What is unweighted? However, ED is kinder than RD. Are you applying to Arts and Sciences? That’s the toughest admit. Peabody is no longer the backdoor for girls.

I’m not sure what my unweighted gpa is, but my school is very competitive and there have been kids with 3.5’s admitted to vanderbilt from my school.

when the so. cal admissions rep came to our school, i asked him whether i should apply to a & s or peabody, and he said that a & s is the best bet for ED, so that’s what i did.
