Hello! I'm looking to apply to IUB this fall, I'm a senior in high school (obviously!) but I want to know my real chances. I am in state and my test scores and GPA are as follows:
ACT:25
SAT:1500
GPA:2.9 ( I know this is sooooo low for IU but I know people with lower GPAs that have gotten in) Also, by the time I give my final transcript, I think it will definitely be in the 3's.
By the time I graduate I will have 5 DC credits and 3 AP credits.
I will also have a Core 40 academic honors diploma.
Other factors: I have 20+ community service hours and have been in co-curricular activities throughout high school.
So, what are my chances?

IS or OOS? IU won’t see your second semester GPA, so likely you will have a 3.0 or lower. It’d be nice if you had a few more honors classes to suffice for your gpa. Anyways, I think IU is gonna be a low reach. Submit your ACT rather than your SAT and see what happens.

I’m IS. And my GPA is 2.98 so I think if I applied after my first semester of my senior year it will most likely be at a 3.
