<p>Hi hello</p>

<p>I am new here. Would you guys please chance me?</p>

<p>Gender: Female
Citizenship: Singapore
High School: Third Best in the nation, extremely competitive public high school
Intended Major: Communications @ School of Agri and Life Sciences</p>

<p>our system here is like this, we attend “secondary school” for four years, and we take O levels. Then, we go on to “junior college” for two years where we take A levels, so I am in my final year. Yupp, we follow the British Education System because we were once colonized by them! </p>

<p>We don’t have a GPA System here but I took</p>

<p>*Academic Record:
-O levels 2007: 8 subjects, 7 distinctions (top 5% in nation)
(Eng, Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics, Chinese, Biology, Chemistry, English Lit, Social Studies+History)</p>

<p>-A levels (geography, economics, lit, math, chi, general paper, projectwork):
Got two As from the two subjects I took last year, five more to go! Taking in November this year.</p>

<p>-SAT I: Taking it in October (expected score: 2100)</p>

<p>-SAT II: Taking Biology and Chinese in November (expected score: Bio-700, Chi:780)</p>

<p>*Academic Awards:
-International English Competition (writing): Distinction Award
-O level Literature Book Prize Winner</p>

<p>*Extra Co-curricular Activties:
-Volleyball (4 years): second place twice
-Indian Cultural Society (2 years)
-Youth Executive Committee (Leadership post in my state’s committee for two years): organized various island-wide events like blood donation drive, pageant for senior citizens, race to raise awareness for Sg Youth Olympic Games and Earth Hour Singapore 2009)
-Combined School Cheerleading Team (selected to perform for National Day Parade 2008)</p>

-Tuition to lower income children and Youth-at-risk
-Camp facilitator to help youth-at-risk
-service learning trip to Nepal
-Help Methodist schs (including my own) raise funds</p>

-Web Design Business: Designed for online shops like Glamour Couture and local celebrities website
-Part Time Model: Trained by one of the good agencies in Singapore, appeared in a TVC to promote F1, Covergirl for a sports and education magazine, TV Host for online TV series related by environmental stuff to be launched in august </p>

<p>Hi. Fellow S’pore C/O 2014 applicant here. Come back to this forum when you’re done with your SAT and Subject Tests. Those are the only quantitative pieces of data that everyone on these forums will be familiar with. Assuming your scores turn out to be your expected scores, I’d say you stand decent but not outstanding chances.</p>
