Hey I’m taking IB too hahahaha
i think you have an advantage since you hv the US passport

Georgia Tech

UCs (LA, B, SD, SB, D, I) UCB/LA-prob a low reach or match? SD-match SB/D/I-High match

Carnegie Mellon- not sure abt this one… it’s weird sometimes…

NYU - Match

Case Western- Match

U of Michigan-Match The average last year was 2060-2260

U of Southern California-Match

Northwestern-Reach

Haha wow this is a coincidence I’m an international IB student too Considering you have a US passport, you have a slightly better chance
Georgia Tech: Match/Low Reach
UCs: UCB/LA: UCB is a reach and LA might be too because they both visited during a college fair and said they require at least 38 points
Carnegie Mellon: Reach
NYU: Match
Case Western: Match
UMich: Match/Low Reach (know from experience)
USC: Someone in our school got in last year and he had 38 points as well, though I think you could get it.
Northwestern: Reach
Even though IB scores may not match with some, SAT is on par and you have stellar ECs. Good luck Chance back?

Pretty creepy cus I am 36 with 2130 keep in mind for predicteds unis will more look at the score/42 so u should probably consider yourself somewhere in between 36-37 . This is because most unis wont really accept the fact you will definitely get 3 points. 70% of kids with 33-36 /42 get 2 points hence predicting 3 extra points is always looked at dubiously from unis

Georgia Tech - high match/low reach (you are so they are absolutely ruthless to internationals like me )

UCs (LA, B, SD, SB, D, I) UCB - mid reach UCLA - low reach rest match to safety

Carnegie Mellon - reach

NYU- match

Case Western - match

U of Michigan - low reach

U of Southern California - high match/low reach

Northwestern- reach

All your schools are quite competitive D: are u adding some safeties?
That being said I think you are a fantastic applicant - good luck!

@kinaralah
LOL, that’s cool haha, and aw man that sucks, guess i’ll have to downgrade my grade Thanks for the chance, i already chanced you back. Yeah, I’m a bit concerned with it too, but I’m not sure which schools should I put as safety and which schools to remove, because my school only allows us to apply to 8 colleges max. do you have any suggestions for me?

Hey yea sure , there are many safer unis for your interests like Purdue , uiuc, BU , U-Wash. Maybe remove northwestern and another reach and add 2 of the 4 I just mentioned?

And you didn’t chance me ahaha, I think you are confusing my chance thread with someone elses
