Hello guys! I'm from Argentina and I will be applying for for next year as an international. I have some colleges in mind, tell me if i have some chances.
HAMILTON COLLEGE - LAFAYETTE COLLEGE- RICHMOND U. - FRANKLIN&MARSHALL - LOYOLA MARYMOUNT - ST. LAWRENCE U. - BEREA COLLEGE - YALE(hard) - CORNELL U.(hard)

GPA (argentine system) 9.10/10
SAT: CR : 500 WR: 540 MATH: 560 . I took the October test, i'm waiting for my results.
TOEFL: 93

Yale, Cornell, and Berea are impossible for you.

If you don’t have SAT over 2200+, unweighted GPA near around 3.9, and if you can’t pay all the cost,

forget about Yale, Berea and Cornell. In fact, your sat is below the average of ALL schools in your list.

Even if you can pay the full cost, the last twos are impossible for you. It seems like you are applying for FA, correct? Then Berea is out too.
Does Argentina have any AP or honors courses? do you have a choice in what class you take?

Also, did you do any ECs?

Yeah I know , it´s impossible. But i really like those colleges. Our system has 12/13 obligatory subjects, i think that are similar to US Courses. I need to convert my GPA to the American System. My score rates for loyola are in the 45% is that bad? I have ECs. Like tutoring, theater, clubs and maybe one or two more.
I´m looking for colleges with good financial aid, but the SAT score are too high :(. Do u know some colleges that fit with me?

With your score, it’s impossible to get merit scholarship. Almost all of them require at least 1280~1400 Math+Critical reading SAT score or ACT 28~32+. Also GPA 3.5+
For example, I got full tuition because my Math+CR was above 1400 and my gpa was well above 3.5.

You can get in US colleges if you really don’t care about the quality of education, but you do. Would you like to go to school where the graduation rate is the worst in the US?
Whether you like it or not-sorry-it’s totally waste of time and effort if you don’t have test scores and GPA that you can compete on par with other international student in your country; there will be Argentina students with much better scores than you have and many of them will still be rejected because of financial situation(need aware schools) or because of Ivy’s unpredictable admission.

Good news is, you are a Junior. That means you have plenty of time to prepare for the SAT! Prepare for the SAT and SAT II as much as possible.

Yeah! I really understand you. Unfortunately I’m not a junior, I think I’m considered as a senior I will be graduating on December ( our system is different from yours). At least i just want to try, I mean i took the TOEFL, 2 SAT just to see, it´s one more try.
Do u think that i have some opportunity? at least one please hahah :/

Nothing is certain unless you have actual score. With that scores you have right now, the chance is close to zero, and zero if you need financial aid.
