I really think the only thing that might hold you back is your SAT I. It’s obviously very good, but there are applicants with higher SATs who have better grades and equal ECs, recs, etc. Have you taken it twice? If not, definitely do so. If you have, I’d recommend taking the ACT because some people find it much easier.
As for your GPA, don’t let people tell you it’s not good enough. I don’t know rank, but considering that you say your school is very competitive, you should be okay. I applied RD (with Math and Applied Math listed as my top major choices) last year and had a 3.5 at the time and got in. I had a 4.0 on my mid year report, and I think that (or maybe one B) is very important for someone with less-than-stellar grades.
I’m assuming from your CTY course and ECs that you’re hoping to major in math, right? If you’re going for pre-med… You’re might be a bit screwed, sorry. But if not, I think you have pretty good chances!
Let me know if you have any questions!

Agree on taking SAT a second time. My son had a similar score as you, re-took it in June, and went up 150 points. Taking the test a second time should be easier because things are a bit more familiar – especially if you get a copy of your old SAT from college board and study what you missed the first time. Nevertheless, if you choose not to do this, a 2170 is a very respectable score and everything else on your resume looks very good. But to maximize your chances with that score I would suggest applying ED.

Thanks, ameliab12 are you a URM? And ive already retaken the sat and boosted my score about 150 points, sadly i thought i could do better but i dont plan on retaking. I plan on applying for engineering, not biomedical but perhaps computer or chemical

Nope, just a white kid from Baltimore County (less than 10 miles away from getting free tuition for being a Baltimore Scholar, which stinks because lack of financial aid from JHU made my college decision for me)! With the big boost in score your second time and the stats that show that taking it a third time does very little, it’s probably a good choice not to take the SAT again. I definitely would sign up for the ACT, though. I checked out an ACT book from the library a week before my test date just so I could familiarize myself with the format of the test and there really wasn’t any studying necessary (though I’m never a studyer, so the same might not be true for you).

Oh thank you well ill try the ACT, sadly i really dont want to study for more tests, but i guess ill try it. What was your ACT or SAT score? that you sent?

2340 (780, 780, 780) and 35… I’m a good standardized tester. My subject test scores were more normal: 770 math II, 780 Math I, 720 literature, 710 physics, 710 world history (I took a ton because being low-income allowed me to take them for free). If you can get a 33 on the ACT, it’s an improvement. Also, sending both could be good if you excel in different subjects to show that you’re well-rounded, though your subject tests obviously already show that.

Dude your scores are really good. I got in with SAT I 2040(710 Math 720 Reading 610 Writing) Math Lv 1 - 710, Bio M 710. Unweighed GPA 3.66, Weighted 6.2, graduated highschool with around 90 college credits. Just make sure on your essay you really show them your passion fro what you want to study. If you’d like i’ll help you with your essays and i can show you the essays that got me in.
