I am completely consumed with thoughts of college, more specifically, college admissions. I figured I'd give this a go and hopefully I'll get some good responses.

I've been homeschooled all my life, and I'm an african american female (not sure if that matters) interested in attending NCSU, Campbell, Clemson, or NCCU (possibly, extreme safety). I want to major in biochemistry or chemistry. NCSU is my #1.

I'm a senior in highschool and currently taking:
Latin II
Spanish II
Pre-calc
Career development (elective)
General Psychology (dual enrollment)
Argument-Based Writing (dual enrollment)
Art Appreciation (dual enrollment)
Public Speaking (dual enrollment)

By the time I graduated I will have completed 36 CC credits, all transferable.

My Unweighted GPA is 3.78
My CC GPA is 3.7
ACT:
June - 24 composite (E 27, M 17, S 22, R 31)
Sept. - 26 composite score (E 26, M 26, S 24, R 27)
SAT:
June - R 610, M 410, W 630 (terrible, I know)

I just want to know if I at least have a shot at NCSU :(

For some reason I’m always the one stuck chancing students that no one else wants.

Take the ACT if you haven’t already; perhaps you will perform better.

NCSU: Match (Math score being the one holdout, unless, somehow, the 36 CC credits @ 3.7 even the odds, in which case it becomes a low match or NCSU has affirmative action)
Clemson: Match
Campbell: Safety
NCCU: Safety

I’ve been trying to decide if I should superscore the ACT or not. I’m not sure if I want them to see the 17 math (My mom was going through radiation at the time). Is it worth one point to show them such a bad score?
