<p>I have a 3.5 uw and 4.8 weighted
I took 2 aps last yr (bio- 3 eng- 5) and this yr im taking 5
I have like 200 comm serv hrs
I am a national achievement scholarship semi-final (find out about final in jan) and chose them as my school
im in debate (secretary)and drama primarily and win lots in debate but still do fbla (secretary) nhs snhs</p>

<p>i turned in my application at literally 11:46pm the night it was due while i wuz at a debate tournament there and i just copied and pasted an essay i used 4 something else. it kinda sucked. alot. and it made no sense, said somthing about my major being bio or science related in the essay (i chose english as my major on the actual application...)</p>

<p>so... is it ok if my essay made no sense at all and that it wuz completely obvious that i waited until the last min???</p>

<p>the essay is one the most essential pieces to your app, but your GPA is good. so i dont know, how is your SAT/ACT?</p>

<p>The accepted student data suggests that UF cares most about:</p>

<p>1- Avg. SAT/ACT scores of enrollees.
2009 - 25% /75% Percentile = 1140-1360</p>

<p>2- % of enrollees in top 10% of high school class
(your GPA is the determinant of this rank)
2009 - avg GPA= 4.0</p>

<p>If #1 or #2 are borderline they move onto the essay.</p>

<p>The further you fall below this norm the more your chances go down.
IMHO OOS students need to be closer to the 75% figures on both categories.</p>

<p>-well... i get my sat scores tomoro.. and i got a 29 on my act. i really shouldve taken it over.
-and im top 4% of my school (we dont rank but my counselor told me)
wow. i really wish i hadnt procrastinated.</p>
