Please chance me! Private/UC

I'm a white male who goes to a very competitive High School in N. California.
GPA: 3.6 W, 3.4 UW

AP/H classes: AP GOV, AP ECON, AP CALC, APUSH, AP STATS, (H) French 7-8.

SAT: 1700, plan on getting over 28 on the ACT. (Pretty confident about taking the ACT)
taking the history, literature and math II SAT II's in October; plan on getting over 700 in two categories.

clubs: MUN, School Choir

sports: football, soccer (varsity for 3 years, varsity captain for 2 years), track

ec: Internship at local GPS tracking device business, handled phone calls, inventory checks, etc. (500+ hours) also a public defenders office in the nearby city (100+ hours).

I believe that my grades and SAT score do not really do me any justification in my level of education. Saying that, I'm pretty confident that my essay will be above average and be deep in meaning. I will also have three decent letters of recommendation.

I'm the first generation going to college. I do not need any financial aid.
Colleges:
UCSC
UCI
UCSB
Boston U.
UMass
Syracuse
Gonzaga

Showed a downward trend in my junior year, mostly due to emotional stress and personal issues. Now, in my senior year, I have had a tremendous leap in grades, having over a 4.25 at the moment (Not that it really matters, anymore, right?).

I will probably be majoring in Poli Sci or some field of Sociology.

Thanks.

Of the ones I feel comfortable speculating on:
UCSC: Probably in
UCI: Don’t count on it
UCSB: Maybe

UCSC: In
UCI: Low Reach if you get a 28
UCSB: Low Reach if you get a 28

Any thoughts on the privates guys?
