not quite sure if I have chances at all of these schools... this is my info though.

What are my chances with -

Michigan (I'm guessing it's a huge reach...)
Rochester
Wisconsin
Illinois
Maryland
Boston University
Penn State
Pitt

Michigan - U of Michigan at Ann Arbor? That’s probably a reach, but it’s always good to have one or two reaches. You might get lucky and get in, and that’d be awesome. I say it’s a reach, but anything could happen.
Rochester - You’re like me for Rochester (I LOVE Rochester!!!) a little bit in the middle. You might be a little behind because of the whole ap thing, but if you took the most out of the school curriculum, should be fine. I’d say it’s a tiny reach, I don’t think I’ll get in. But go get an interview!!! My interviewer was SO friendly, and I was really comfortable.

Wisconsin- Don’t know much about this school, so I can’t really say.
Illinois - Urbana campus would be a reach I think, but the Chicago campus should be alright. I think the midwest is big on ACTS, so try taking that if you can. And SAT II will help.

Maryland - Eh, I think you’ll get in.
Boston University - I think it’s a bit of a reach.
Penn State - Depends on the campus. You SHOULD be alright for the local branches, but U Park is actually a little competitive.

Pitt - I don’t know about Pitt, so I’d say who knows.

I think that your scores are solid for most of these schools, but the gpa could be brought up a little to improve your chances. Increasing the SAT will help, too, but i think the gpa will help more.

Here’s what I think your chances are:

Rochester-high match
Wisconsin-high match
Illinois-match/high match
Maryland-high match
Boston University-high match
Penn State-match/high match
Pitt -match/high match

Personal Opinion:

Rochester - match
Wisconsin-high match
Illinois-low reach
Maryland- low reach/high match
Boston University - low reach
Penn State-match
Pitt -high match

are you in state for any of these schools? that should help your chances drastically

Your SAT score is pretty reasonable for the schools you’re applying to. You may want to focus on getting very good scores on the Subject Tests, as well, in order to make up for your lack of APs. Also, which EC would you say you’ve invested most of your time in? That information would help people chance you better. Colleges like to see dedication to a particular hobby or pursuit.

I would say close to reach for all of them. Maybe raise your test scores and get more ECs in and you should be good.

Don’t know about the others, but for Boston U, “need-based” FA is determined by merit, and with your stats, you probably wouldn’t get much regardless of income. Also, what state are you in?

I think there’s a good chance you’ll get into 1-2+ of these schools, but find a few safeties just in case.
