okay so my Freshman Year was awful! But my sophomore year was amazing, I got All A's and one B+. I plan to get straight A's for junior year and senior year. My GPA including Junior Year (not senior year) would be a 3.9-4.0 weighted and flat 3.75 unweighted. I did not include Senior year because senior grades are not calculated into your GPA when you are applying for college. With my senior grades my FINAL GPA for my high school career would be a 4.1 weighted and 3.8 unweighted. I plan to get at least a 2200 on the SATs. In total I would be taking 10 AP classes that include, AP Spanish, AP Statistics, AP European History, AP Chemistry, AP U.S. History, AP English 11, AP English 12, AP US GOV., AP Calc and AP Physics. One important thing is that I retook 5 of my freshman classes over in summer school to raise my GPA. They were originally B's now they are A's. What are my chances!!!???
I don't know if race matters but I'm a Hispanic girl raised by a single mother. ( I heard that race does matter when they admitting students) Oh I also will be part of NHS (national honor society) starting Junior Year

extra curricular:
-Volunteering with 4 organizations (AHC, ACE, Arlington volunteer program and Action team)
-NHS
-Job during the summer
-babysat for the twins on a daily bases M-F for one hour for two years! 10$/hour
-7 years of Rec. Soccer
-3 years of Ult. Frisbee

P.S I also plan to study abroad during the summer in S. Korea----How will this help my chances??? I will also probably high in my class rank, I go to a pretty bad high school (full with a lot underprivileged students).

What else should I do to raise my chances, or suggestions for other colleges to aim at???
