<p>Didn't Study as much as I should of , something I truly regret. I'm a rising senior and although I'm taking the SAT:s again, as well as the ACT once more, I don't have much of a chance to raise my GPA.</p>

<p>3.0 Unweighted
3.2 Weighted</p>

<p>Live in NYS, have taken 2 AP classes, and one honors so far. Will be taking 2 more AP's neext year.</p>

640 Math
550 writing</p>

<p>Hopeful schools :</p>

<p>High Point
Elon
James Madison
USC Columbia
Clemson</p>

<p>What can I do to raise my chances of getting into some of those schools.I understand it may be very hard for me to get into Clemson and Elon.</p>

<p>And on a side note, how do I schedule admissions interviews? Do I have to do them after I apply to the college?</p>

<p>High Point is a safety, Clemson and Elon are reaches. Not sure on JMU or USC. Best of luck!</p>

<p>apply ED to Elon or High Point…if you can and if either of them are your first choices…work your butt off on your essays to discuss why you belong there…</p>

<p>Your GPA at Elon is recalculated using their weighting system (+1 for honors, +2 for AP’s like all of North Carolina HSs)…no plusses or minuses and no electives counted (only five major courses)…in other words, if you are a primarily a “B” student, you should be fine…if you have C’s not so much…</p>

<p>JMU and others will be much harder for admission…</p>

<p>and EA for Elon would be MUCH more of a reach…as Poi stated above</p>
