TT my SAT is a huge problem.....

500(cr)770(math)540(wr)
how can it be happen.....TT
I studied blue book from college board for 5 times....
and also 5 practice books..... yes I studied as much as I could do....
I'm really bad at interpretation so I couldn't get good scores in cr....TT
also I'm not stupid.... as you see my SAT II scores.....
penn is my dream school..... I applied for bio dental program
I know.... TT my SAT I scores are way too bad......
I already accepted for 6 year pharmacy program, but I just feel bad that
I couldn't get decent scores in SAT I
even though English is not my native language, I can understand passage but
It's really hard to interpret and analyze the fact for me.... that is my problem.....
I studied hard since I came here 4 years ago... and I feel like everything that I spent time and I did is pointless........TT
help me... chance me... how upenn is going to think about me......
thx.....

It’s not going to happen.

That’s a really harsh reply. Obviously you are not stupid based on your SAT II scores, though you are also obviously hindered by lacking the advantages of knowing English as a native language. Because of this, your critical reading and writing skills probably suffer quite a blow. Though I do have to agree with the above poster that your chances are of course diminished with such low scores, but don’t be discouraged. UPenn is really competitive and reading through your post I get the impression that you tried the best you could, so don’t be sad if you apply and get rejected :)

Sorry just curious, what the heck is “TT”?

ur sat does seem to be too low~ sorry to say
did u take toefl? i mean u may get slightly better chance if u get a high toefl score
i dont think it would change much tho cuz u’ve been here 4 years already.
but if u wanna be considered at all, u HAVE to take toefl
upenn requires TOEFL for intl students whose sat cr score is lower than 650

anyway, unless u get extraordinary essays or some really special talent, i dont think u’ll get in~~

but try anyway~ u never know what happens
im the same… just trying for a meager chance

i think TT is like a crying face or something . yes. you have to have a superhero-like talent to be able to figure that out.

i think TT means “cry”
its looks like a crying face
looks more like a face when u type T.T or T_T
lol

=) thx for your replies
I took toefl and I got 100/120(first trial haha)
since I’m not wordy person at all
so my english scores are not good
but I’m confident in science, math, and art (that’s why I’m applying biodental program)
yeah I will not disappoint even if I get rejected. =)
I tried my best, and there are many ways to be a successful and make lots of money =)
thanks for replies!!! and good luck with all you guys~

yeh definite no - judging by the quality of the few posts you’ve made, it is easy to see why you bombed CR/W - extending this lack of mastery over the english language past the SATs and into your essays, it does not look promising. in my mind: rejection.

3.14159% My calculations are always accurate.

lol @ pi% … nice

lol acceptd, way to state the obvious…nice

lol a2npersuas2n, way to state the obvious to the obvious… nice :)

Too many TTs. Penn rejects TTs.

Seriously though, international students are not exactly given a break. Your test scores aren’t competitive with some of the purely international (a.k.a. never lived in the USA) students from Asia for example.

But send it in and hope you get the crapshoot.

Good Luck!
