Hello! I’m like minutes from submitting my application to UCLA, UCI, UCD, and UCSD as a transfer student and I was just curious if anyone would just talk to me about these chances.
My Major is Political Science
GPA: 4.0 so far and I don’t think it will change for the update in Jan.
ECs are ACLU, Exec VP at student govt, carving, awards, part time job ~25 hrs a week, taking care of sibling.
- Side note is that I am a one year transfer so I’ve only been in CC for a couple months instead of the stereotypical two years.
- my essays are pretty well spread out
Please let me know and I appreciate everyone who responds a lot!
Assuming that you meet the base UC transfer requirements (60 semester or 90 quarter units by the time of transfer, basic pre-transfer course pattern) and preparation for your major at each campus, see the following:
Note: if you are counting on AP or IB credit to meet the 60 semester or 90 quarter unit minimum or any subject requirements, be sure to use the AP or IB credit charts from UC, the specific UC campus, or the specific major at the specific UC campus as appropriate.

Yup! I have around 25 semester units from AP courses and 52 from CC classes, so it should be hitting right on! Thank you.
