The admitted gpa, is it based on the GPA after spring quarter or after this fall quarter? I need time to regain my GPA due to my poor GPA at summer

Transfers include all undergraduate transfer applicants in the fall term.
GPA is based on self-reported transfer GPA, so I assume after the TAU update in January which would include Fall Semester/Quarter grades, unless @ucbalumnus knows otherwise.

What do you think personally about my application? The web listed in the comment section just talked about the GPA admitted, I’m curious whether other thing does as matter as the GPA part

Almost all international students transfer via a CA community college. Direct int’l transfers have very low acceptance. I don’t know how your situation will play out being int’l and OOS.

They will only calculate GPA through fall, BTW. Check out the page @ucbalumnus put up. That will give you the GPA range. I didn’t look but 3.6 may be low for stats.

correction:

it’s actually 3.81 by the end of fall 2016, and 3.86 by the end of winter 2016,

i will still be counted as out of state right?

Yes, you are counted as an OOS applicant.

How fierce the competition as the OOS? I heard California cc students moderately easy go to Uc Berkeley.

OOS applicants are low priority since California CCC’s applicants are first in line. Getting into UCB is still not easy since you need a very competitive GPA long with good personal statements and EC’s. Average admit GPA campus wide is a 3.64-3.95.

@Gumbymom If my GPA was a high 3.6 before fall, and will drop a little(low 3.6) from non-preq classes, will it hurt my chances a lot? Major is statistics.

I should’ve mentioned I’m a transfer student.

If you took Physics, I’d say you are really competitive for Earth and Planetary Science (Geology major especially).
Based on EC and GPA.
