xSteven, I see what you’re saying but I just wanna hear more opinions. If you look there’s only like 4 or 5 people who REALLY chanced me.

You’ll probably get into most of the UCs…everything else, I have no clue. XD

I think you’re fine–your gpa is good, especially for UCs. your AP test score is good, and so are your EC’s. :)

the only thing I would say is to hurry up and take all of your standardized tests soon. that way, if you do bomb a test, you will have more chances to take it again

good luck!

Please chance me:

Thanks Graciee. BTW I chanced you back.

Advice: DO NOT TAKE KOREAN SUBJECT IF YOU ALREADY FLUENT IN KOREAN. it is a death knell to your application to top schools, believe me. They rather see other proficiency in something else.

Here’s the deal: you’re a very good student, with top grades and (probably) very good scores. You have pretty good activities in your school, but nothing outside the school that really stands out. You’re competing in a very competitive pool. You will get into an excellent, selective school, as long as you are smart about your applications. If, for example, you apply to the Ivies and UCs only, then there is a real chance that you will be going to a UC. Maybe that’s OK. But you can construct a list that includes some other matches that may not be top 20.

Uhm… I’d say the Ivies are most definitely a reach. And privates like Rice, etc. If your PSAT score will reflect your real SAT score… err… yeah. A bit on the low side. Plus, you have very few leadership positions.

UCB and UCLA will probably be slight reaches as well. Maybe UCSD.

Admissions are getting more competitive with each passing year. Although you have a nice application, I don’t see anything that separates you from the next Asian-American (I’m assuming you’re Asian, given your proficiency in Korean?) that rolls around. ^^;

First off, Co-President for Key Club sounds extremely illegitimate. Kiwanis is a serious organization and I don’t see how they would accept a Co-President. Furthermore, having a “CO” leadership position does not make you a leader because you’re sharing that position.

Second, if you do not get a 5 on your AP tests then it will make you A’s in AP classes look inflated.

Third, you’re Korean and your bracket is very intense.

Fourth, your commitment to JV Soccer is lacking considering that you hid from your coach to avoid going to the team banquet. You are very uncommitted.

Fifth, your “witness23” suggests that you like Lebron James, who is highly overrated by the media.

Sixth, you have very few AP classes and your GPA is very low considering you weren’t challenged…at all.

Finally, you perfect matches are the following:

CSUF
CSU San Marcos
CSULB
UC Merced

The following schools are high HIGH reaches given your stats:

Cornell
Rice
Harvey Mudd
UCLA
UCB
UCD
UCSD
UCSB
UCI

That’s what you get for bein’ a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Imma kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll YOUUUUUUUUU!
