Please chance me.. (UCs)

GPA: W-4.61 (3/276)
UW-3.87

Sat 1: 1760
Sat 2: Math 2c-800
Korean-790

AP: Chem-3
Calc AB-5

ELC: yes

Chances at UCB, UCLA, UCSD

ps. my brother goes to UCB right now.

oh and should I take Sat2 Chem??

Strong GPA, weak SAT score. Do you have any extracurriculars? Any honors/awards? What's your intended major? And don't bother taking the chemistry subject test -- your subject tests and scores are fine.

Berkeley: reach
UCLA: reach
UCSD: slight reach (SAT score, but ELC)

reach menas I cant get in???

Doesn't mean you can't get in but your chances are low.

Get your SAT up to around 1900 and your chances are much better since you have a really good GPA.

I was in Varsity golf team for four years, volunteered at a hospital for more than 400 hours and volunteered at an animal hospital and was a vice president of asian club, etc, and my major will be MCB or IB

Just wondering, why do folks who speak say Korean very well opt for the Korean SATII? Isn't that like a native speaker of English taking the TOEFL and getting a near perfect score? IOW, meaningless. So, yes take the Chem test. You should get into UCSD, maybe UCLA, Cal???

Yeah it's kind of dumb, I noticed a lot of people do that.

UCB/UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach

Should be in at all the lower UC's below the top 3. The only thing holding you back from the top 3 could be your SAT. If you could get it up to and above a 1900, i would think you would have a shot at UCSD and UCLA. As of right now, UCSD, UCLA, and UC Berkeley are probably not likely, although you have a shot because of ELC. But your SAT is holding you back. just try to get it up. Best of luck!
