Well stats wise, you look pretty good. Your GPA and rank are really good. I’m not sure which schools look at superscored SATs and which don’t, but I recommend that you take the SATs one more time to get 1500+ if you can. Also, I recommend you not send your AP scores because the 1 in Physics 1 can make you look bad to adcom, especially for the schools you’re applying engineering. To be a bit honest, your ECs are good but they look a bit scattered, so you need to make sure your essays are written well and weave in how each EC developed you as a person. Here is what I believe your chances are at the schools you listed.

Reaches: Duke, Vanderbilt, UNC, UMich, UVa
Matches UT Austin
Safeties: UF, UGA, UMD

I would come up with a few more match schools, but otherwise, your list is good. GL w your apps!

UT Austin is not a match if you are out of state. They fill 90% of their class with instate applicants.

UF also highly favors in state applicants.

UMD Engineering is more competitive than the rest of the school. I would say match, not safety (although your instate and your school GC should be able to tell you exact stats for grads from your high school).

Personally I think you need more matches and safeties.

You’ve got above average stats and decent ECs. It’ll be tough to get into schools like UNC-CH, Michigan, and UVA w/o a higher SAT score. I’d agree with what @momofsenior1 said about your distribution bw matches and safeties. However, if you would be satisfied with attending UMD, you should be fine with only adding maybe another safety or two. I’d appreciate a chance back, we’re looking at similar schools it seems and we’re from a similar area so I’d appreciate your feedback. GL!

Everything on the list is out of state except for UMD, which is hyper-competitive. The worst thing about college applications is not the rejection. It’s getting into a bunch of schools you can’t afford. Are your parents willing to pay $100,000 for a bachelors degree? If not, you need to overhaul your list.
