Aside from the colleges listed, does anyone know of any other colleges that may match with me? :)

Thanks a lot for the help CC :)

Bump this up

Are you applying ED Upenn?

No chance at stanford. All else are possible.

Hmmm… I’m going to say that you have a significant chance with Cornell, UPenn, and Duke. Northwestern as well. Stanford is still tough, as it is for everyone. Your hook definitely makes you stand out, your internships are quite good. Personally, I would probably submit the ACT before the SAT because the ACT highlights what appear to be your strengths - math and science.

All are RD except for Stanford. I’m hoping the adcoms will have an epiphany and recognize that they want me!

Would Cornell still be a reach for me or more along the lines of a match?

Their campus is absolutely beautiful by the way :)

Low reach, high match probably. It’s still Ivy League, it still has a 20% acceptance rate, it’s quite selective. I’d say you have a good chance, though.

UPenn—low reach

Duke—low reach

Stanford–reach

Rice–high match/low reach

Cornell–low reach

WUSTL—low reach

Northwestern–high match
chance back?

UPenn: low reach

Duke: low reach

Stanford: high reach

Rice: high match

Cornell: reach

WUSTL: can’t say

Northwestern: can’t say

chance me 8) : http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816537-you-chance-me-i-chance-you.html</a></p>

Duke: high match
Stanford: reach
Northwestern: match
Cornell: reach

Can I get some match recommendations? Safeties even? I’m also applying to UCB, UCLA, UCSD

UPenn

Duke

Stanford

Rice - match

Cornell - match

WUSTL - not sure

Northwestern - match

Good chance at everything except Stanford … and maybe UPenn. But i doubt it (for UPenn)

Congrats on those internships. Go ahead and try the ACT you have nothing to lose. Also, the 740 Bio M score seems low/out of place considering the rest of your app. maybe a retake?

UPenn- reach

Duke- reach

Stanford- reach

Rice- decent

Cornell- reach

WUSTL- decent

Northwestern- decent

UPenn—match
Duke—match
Stanford–reach
Rice–reach
Cornell–reach
WUSTL—reach
Northwestern–match

I don’t know much about these schools except for UPENN and Cornell but since you are not applying to UPENN as ED I am going to say that is more of a reach (they basically fill their class ED). Cornell I think would be a little easier but closer to a reach, but even so I would still apply because you never know! Everyone has atleast a little bit of a chance.

UPenn - reach but good chance i think

Duke -match

Stanford - reach

Rice - not sure

Cornell - low reach/high match (pretty high chance)

WUSTL - good chance

Northwestern - match

UPenn - I think you’re in

Duke - low reach

Stanford - reach

Rice - match

Cornell - match

WUSTL - match

Northwestern - match

You’ve got a pretty solid profile and I think you’ll be seeing multiple acceptance letters! Good luck =]. If you could chance me back I’d really appreciate it:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816973-chances-top-schools-will-return-favor.html</a></p>

Stanford would be a pretty high reach, and I’ve heard they’re not exactly generous with their aid. Cornell and Rice are low reaches/pretty high matches.

Between UPenn and Stanford, I’d say you have a better chance at UPenn. Consider that many applicants to Stanford will have their apps loaded with research and science intern stuff as well.

UPenn- low reach

Duke- low reach

Stanford- mid to upper reach

Cornell- I think you’re in

With good essays, you should be perfect. Your situation is admirable since you seem to have done quite well for yourself! :D
