<p>Hi! Please chance me for UPenn ED. I have already submitted the application, but want to know what you think about it.</p>
<p>I am international student from Moldova, Eastern Europe applying ED to UPenn. During the last year I studied in the US.</p>
<p>SAT: 2050; CR-610, M-800, W-670
SAT II: Math2-800, Physics-800, Biology E-660
TOEFL PBT: 663 (out of 677)
AP: Calculus BC-5 (this was the only AP I could possibly take in the US. Actually, my school had only Calculus AB, but I wanted to challenge myself by taking the BC exam)
GPA: 9.70 out of 10.00 (with 4 as failing)
Class rank: ~2 out of 57 (yeah, it's a small school)</p>
<p>Achievements:
The National Society for High School Scholars (since 11th grade)
The National Technical Honor Society (since 11th grade - the program of studies at the US school I studied in was oriented towards the local agriculture)
Principal's List at the US high school
Virginia HS League Academic Excellence Award
AMC 12 school winner & AIME participant
Won a full one-year scholarship to the US sponsored by the US Government
Honorable mention at the National Math Olympiad (10th grade)
Honorable mention at the National Physics Olympiad (10)
3nd place at the citywide (~ 1 million people - the capital of Moldova, 75 high schools) Math Olympiad (10)
2nd place at the citywide Physics Olympiad (10)
2nd place at the citywide Geography Olympiad (10)
2nd place at a citywide history contest (10)
Recipient of some school and city scholarships and awards</p>
<p>In the US played varsity tennis and runned varsity cross country (have letters for both)</p>
<p>Speak fluently English, Romanian (first language), Russian (I know it as well as Romanian even though they are completely different).</p>
<p>And, probably the most important factor, I applied for full financial aid.</p>
<p>Have a decent essay and some good recommendations from both US and Moldovan teachers. </p>
