I spent a lot of time of the Michigan essays and had peers review them. I name dropped a professor I conducted research on and a few classes I was interested in. Highlighted my interest in engineering based on my father’s career as a carpenter and going on side-jobs with him. (Also good at math and science)

I also received another rec from the lawyer I work for, he has known me my whole life and coached me in basketball.
