<p>Definitely retake the SAT I…I don’t see a reason for you to take the ACT if you can get your SAT score up about 40+ points. Unfortunately, your parents’ marital status does not provide you with any sort of hook. </p>

<p>Be wary of your previous chances. Cornell, JHU, Williams, and Chicago should not be considered a match for you. In reality, your SAT scores and ECs are average for these schools. If you want to attend a selective school like the for previously stated, apply to more of them.</p>

<p>I would suggest retaking both the SAT II Math 2 and the SAT to improve your writing. I would suggest, though, that you broaden up on your EC’s and do some community service if you haven’t already.
