I’m a junior in highschool, My Gpa is about a 3.8 on a 4.0, my sat is 2170 and act is a 33, national merit scholar, recipient of the presidents community service award for 3 years totaling up to around 300 hours so far, i rowed crew freshmen year and played golf sophomore and junior years and plan on playing it senior year as well. I founded a student managed investment fund this year which I am the president of (we invest actually money in the stock market and are funded by our school) I have been a member of youth and government and world affairs since freshmen year, I took 1 AP and 2 honor classes last year and am currently taking 3 AP’s(Chem, physics and us history) this year and plan on taking even more next year. Also I’m interested in majoring in economics or something else that would allow me to find a job on wallstreet. I know this isn’t the best resumé but can anyone tell me what my chances might be getting into Duke? Thanks!
BUMP
I would say Duke is a reach for almost everyone, but it seems like you are in the range for admission. I would still classify it as a low reach, but your stats and EC’s make you a quality applicant.
Chance back?

Looks like you’re well within range for admission. It would be nice to get several more AP’s under your belt next year, though. LoR’s and essays are also a huge part of the admissions process, so make sure you get started as soon as you can and have everything in order once senior year comes around. Good luck!
@ahawkins sorry what are Lor’s?
Letters of recommendation. Sorry!
@ahawkins oh of course dont know how I didn’t see that, thanks!
your rigor is low. your gpa is good and so is your act and you stand out. low/mid reach. chance back?
