<p>OK so I applied to the following schools (I am a NYS student) and the results have been:</p>

<p>ACCEPTED: SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY Cortland, SUNY Oswego, SUNY Buffalo (University at Buffalo), SUNY Oneonta, SUNY Albany, SUNY New Paltz, Pace University, Florida State University, UMass Amherst, University of Delaware</p>

<p>WAITLIST/SPRING ACCEPTANCE: SUNY Geneseo</p>

<p>REJECTED: University of Florida</p>

<p>STATS:</p>

<p>GPA: 3.53/4.5 (unsure of UW)- Top 30% (27%) of my class which is known as a great school
ACT: 25 (This is weak I know)
10 AP classes mainly all other honors classes</p>

<p>AMAZING Extracurriculars, very in depth, became an EMT (served as Captain of Ambulance Youth Corps), Winner of county speech contests and winner of American Legion Oratorical Contest where I only lost at a high level over 700 riding hours on an ambulance, volunteered at church, Lead roles in Fall Play, Jr and Sr. year with a minor role soph year, DECA, Science Olympiad... and even more where I held/hold various leadership positions. I was also involved on my debate and speech team in school winning numerous awards.</p>

<p>RECS: I have 2 EXCELLENT ones, one from a Binghamton alum and one from my AP Eng Teacher/Speech and Debate coach.</p>

<p>Member of 3 subject honor societies, with History HS being NATIONALLY recognized and Science being state recognized... also a board member of English Honor Society</p>

<p>EXCELLENT ESSAY discussed how I have overcome great personal struggles in life but mainly focused on how I have overcome those struggles to better others and discussed how I helped someone on an ambulance with CPR seen as very good and very original</p>

<p>Now here are my remaining colleges:</p>

<p>Sounds like you have a strong application, but your ACT is weak and I am assuming you are not submitting SAT scores. I know people with higher stats than yours who were rejected to Binghamton, but you never know…what’s your second choice?</p>
