<p>HYMP are high reaches. There’s nothing extraordinary about your application… your CR score is relatively low, your SAT IIs are fine - though not phenomenal, your ECs are decent, and your class rank is low for HYMP.</p>
<p>GENERALLY, you’d be in pretty good shape if you have a 3.9+ UW, top 5%+, 2300+, and extracurriculars where you’ve achieved national or international recognition.</p>
<p>Guess I don’t have a chance at the Ivies anymore, better start focusing on what I thought were safety schools like Boston, NYU, Emory, UCD, tufts, amherst, and oregon state. ):</p>
<p>Hey, by all means, give it a shot if you’re interested in going there - don’t let the common statistics discourage you from applying. If you’re essays are amazing, they may very well tip you into the “accepted” pile.</p>
