So here's my situation.

Right now, I'm going to college without any FA because I'm an international student.
Before going to college, I thought many people actually do pay full tuition but after coming here, I realized more than half of my friends get some sort of FA (granted, they're american citizens) and it made me feel really bad making my parents pay for 60+ grands/year for next 3 more years)
So this is why I want to transfer to institutions that do give FA to international students, namely HYM.

I know it is very competitive to transfer into any of those three universities but I just wanted to know if I have at least a realistic chance of getting in before I delve myself into this crazy application process)

I go to top 10 ranked college that is notorious for giving you bad gpa :( (you guys can prob figure out which one)

And here's my stat

Ethnicity: Asian (getting Canadian citizenship next year even tho I prob won't get it before the admission)

HS: Fairly competitive public school in BC, Canada
HS GPA (UW): (gr.10-12) 3.8~3.85?
IB: 37/45. lol yes.. I gave up studying after I got into college, never thought I'd need to transfer.
Class rank: 10/300 ish?
SAT's: 760CR/800M/720W (single sitting)
SAT 2's: 800 Math 2/800 Phys/780 Chem
EC's: i guess.. just enough to get me into colleges other than HYMPS?
Mostly contest related/some volunteer/some club positions

Intended Major: Physics/Math
College GPA: 3.8 (Took Analysis, Honors physics, humanities(philosophyish) class in fall quarter and will be taking Analysis, Honors physics, Intermediate Mechanics, humanities next quarter, I slacked off first quarter. pretty sure I can pull off 4.0 for next quarter)
EC's: Honestly, I rly have none. Attended some clubs but not rly... maybe playing FIFA 2 hrs everyday on xbox? lol
Recs: I think I can get decent rec from my analysis professor and I'm planning on getting the other one from my mechanics professr next quarter)

So... assuming I get decent recs, provide an adequate academic reason for transfer and start involving myself more into clubs/etc. Will I have a realistic chance (i.e. will I not be wasting my money by applying?) of getting into HYM?

Thank you very much in advance!
