Okay to pretty good if you early
Here’s the reason why:
you are a unique applicant, lots of very good ecs (++)
even though your scores are not very high right now, if you get a bit higher your scores would not be bad at all
females are minorities (though not minority enough to make a big difference)
though you live in an affluent community and your community doesn’t have a trend of being a feeder, being in first decile is not bad at all
CHE is more selective than cals, but not as much as say the privates

not early, rd

you ec are kinda weak, and your SAT scores need to get better. Its a reach school but go for your dreams!

My EC’s are weak? I thought being published in a medical journal would be good for HumEc…I guess not…?

Also, I think my SAT should go up, and I’m aiming for 2200. Would that be too low for Human ecology? Thanks so much.

^lol? 10char

Your ECs are fine. For some reason people default to “weak EC’s” no matter what. Pull those test scores up and you’ll be in good shape.

Ok great. Anyone else? Is this a very high reach, assuming around a 2150 SAT?

Mid-reach.
Not high at all.

Your EC with the whole medical journal makes the SAT scores look like nothing.
Shows the college that you really want to get into this.

That said, a 2150 SAT will be great, too!

A fellow vaulter! How high did you go?

Not too high haha. I jumped in a few varsity meets as a sophmore, though, and my coach said I was promising. Won’t help me get into college though.

Haha, I see. That’s too bad, it’d be nice to meet a fellow vaulter pre-season. Good luck on getting in.

Yea…my injury was a big dissapointment, I really wanted to try to vault in college, but not everything always works out.

Any other opinions?
