i really want to know what SAT scores i need to make my application as competitive as possible. I would appreciate all opinions, and suggestions. I want to apply early decision what are my chances.. Please I really need your help.!!!!!!!!

You should try to get a 2300+ on the SAT. Also: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1145519-please-help-i-have-problem.html</a> Any advice would be appreciated.

Hmmm… it’s very hard to tell without test scores. But apart from a few of your work experiences, your ECs are kinda weak.

What have you been getting on practice SATs/SAT IIs/ACTs?

do you have any tips as to what kind of EC’s will make my application stronger? like what kind of volunteering.

I think you definitely have a shot at Columbia.

For EC’s – it doesn’t so much matter what you do, but rather if you’re dedicated and passionate about it. Colleges don’t want to see a random smattering of semester-long commitments in various areas. They want to see you find your passion and commit yourself to it.

For SAT scores – shoot for a 2200 or above. 2200 vs. 2400 aren’t hugely different in the eyes of the college admissions team, or so I’ve heard.
