*Good essays and recommendations, in my opinion

Other
* State (if domestic applicant): Pennsylvania
* School Type: Public, very competitive, suburban
* Ethnicity: White
* Gender: Male
*Income bracket: high
*Legacy at Princeton

Very high chances. The legacy should put you over the top. I would recommend SCEA.

Thanks, SheepGetKilled. But do you think my chances are really that good even with a fairly low GPA?

I think you have a good chance. My SAT and APs were similar and I was accepted. Your GPA is low but your ECs seem interesting and your legacy status is a plus. I think the key is essays and short answers that “bring you to life” as an individual.

It’s hard to believe that there are many applications more competitive than yours, but there are. A good number of them. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t consider your chances very high with your GPA.

I’m probably in the top 10-15%, but definitely not in the top 5% or so. And it’s a pretty good high school, but nothing exceptional.

I just wanted to know if I still have a chance since I have legacy- I know there are plenty of applicants with SATs/ECs that are just as good or better in addition to much better grades.
