Need details on race and gender
You’ve got strong scores, but you’re a cookie cutter applicant
to put it bluntly, HYPM=probably not, Chicago depends on your essay, and you’ve got a shot at the others

Do you have leadership positions in any of the clubs you listed?

What details on race and gender? (Im white and male) Well besides class office no not really. NHS became somewhat of a popularity contest with all of the girls so I am not holding office. I feel like my research internship and science fair achievements (state for the last 5 years and doing some good research) along with my ability to most likely run for the above mentioned schools would make me not a “cookie-cutter” applicant. But I know nothing

Didn’t notice it in your OP, usually people state it at the top of the post. My mistake.

Don’t get touchy because I gave you my honest opinion, there are thousands of applicants with similar, if not more extensive science credentials applying to the same schools. On top of that, many of them are leaders in most all of the clubs they are involved with, and lots of them will have perfect SAT/ACT scores. Others will be more distinguished athletes than yourself, and many will have taken a greater quantity of advanced classes than you have. These are the people you’ll be competing against, don’t be surprised if you find out that you don’t stack up.

If you don’t want to believe me, then that’s your choice, but I’m just being realistic.

Yeah i know. I wasnt getting touchy there im just kind of freaking out now lol. But thanks for the advice
