Please "Chance Me"

<p>So I am going absolutely crazy trying to figure out how which/how to apply for college. I was hoping for an acceptance to Texas A&M but considering that I'm lacking in ECs and my SAT scores are horrible, I'm sure I have no chance :(</p>

<p>Just to make sure, I wanted some advice for what college I should try applying for Industrial/Civil Engineering. The college HAS to be in Texas.</p>

<p>About me:
Top 6% (17/298)
SAT; 560 CR 470 M 500 R :(
AP English Lang Comp Score; 3
HS's Newspaper Web Editor for 1 year < that's about it for my ECs
I've been in AP English & Math all 4 years of HS with A/high B grades
4.136 GPA
This year I'm in dual credit for Drafting with a 94
Taking the ACT in Dec. in hopes of improving (took the SAT in May of junior yr & I was extremely nervous)</p>

<p>I am planning on taking 2 additional AP tests this year as well (Calculus AB & English Literature).</p>

<p>your grades/class rank will make up for your sat score if your not looking into super-selective schools</p>

Texas A&M, as well as other colleges, have this top 10% auto-admission that I saw on their website, should I bother sending an application before the Dec. 1 deadline? (I believe that’s when it is)
Oh & what kind of non super-selective school in TX are you refering to??
