Please Chance Me!

Hi,

I'm an international student-athlete (Junior), and I was wondering if you guys could help me out.
It would be nice if someone could chance me!

I know with my test scores and GPA it's almost impossible to enroll at Cornell, but I thought I might have a chance because I'm an athlete and English is not my native language, therefore my SAT scores are lower.

-My current GPA is 3.3, but my Final Exams GPA is 4.0 (I expect this to be lower at the end of my senior year)

-The first time I took the SAT I scored 1860, 730 in MT, 580 in CR and 550 in WR.

-There are no AP's or honor classes available in my country, but I'm taking the hardest classes there are available at my school.

-I'm in Preparatory University Education

Courses I took/am taking (until Senior year):
-English (6 years)
-Dutch (6 years)
-French (6 years)
-German (2 years)
-Latin (3 years)
-Greek (2 years)

-Physics (5 years)
-General Sciences (1 years)
-Chemistry (4 years)
-Biology (2 years)
-Technology (2 years)

-Geography (3 years)
-Music (2 years)
-Visual Arts (3 years)
-History (3 years)
-Philosophy (4 years)
-Cultural and Artistic Education (2 years)
-Economics (1 year)
-Management and Organisation, includes Marketing, Finance, Accounting (4 years)

Extracuricular Activities:
-Piano (10 years)
-Leadership Activities
-Cross Country + Track (3 years) national level

If I forgot something, let me know.

Thank you!

I would say it depends on your essay, and whether you are applying for financial aid or not, your EC’s are fyn and score is in the lower 25 percentile range, btw whats ur intended major and why didn’t u take the SAT Subject tests?

I’m planning to major in Applied Economics and Management. I haven’t taken the subject tests yet, but I will do that in my senior year when I know I have a chance to enroll at Cornell. Thanks for your reply :)

I forgot to mention I am also taking the following courses:

-Math B, scientific math, calculus, trigonometry, etc… advanced math (6 years)
-Math D, deepening of Math B, Combinatorics, Arithmetic rules, Probability Theory, Cryptography, Coding, Game Theory, Complex Numbers, Geometry, Normal distribution, Astronomy (3 years)

Anyone else? Appreciate it!

Unlikely. You’re an international with a low sat.

“I’m an international student-athlete (Junior)”
Did you decide ur an athlete or did a cornell coach and come decide ur an athlete? there’s a difference.
If u didn’t get recruited, low chance.
