I have a 2300 total SAT score (760 Math, 780 Reading, 760 Writing)

I was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes in my second quater in sophomore year. I was feeling sick all freshman year and the beginning of sophomore year. After I was diagnosed, it took a while to get adjusted and learn how to manage my diabetes. It took me a little over a year to really learn how to manage my disease and live with it. Its under control now and my grades now reflect my ability in the classroom, and not just my ability on a standardized test.

Scored a 3 as a sophomore on AP World Exam

My daughter has a classmate whose SAT scores were off the charts… even higher than yours. He’s really into IR and G’Town was his first choice. But his GPA suffered because of a bad experience as a foreign exchange student in Europe during his junior year. He dropped out of the program early, came home, tried to transition back into classes here, and it was a disaster for him and really hurt his GPA. He got denied. Every situation is different, though, so by all means give it a shot.
